Just purchased a Mercedes Sprinter Midwest Automotive Edition (USED). Had questions in general and about some replacement parts. I was quickly transferred to Rob Cronin who was overly helpful. I was impressed because it was a used van but he made me feel like I was getting the same quality service as if I purchased it new directly from them. I didn't have high expectations in getting support for my RV. It seems that once you have bought and paid, no one actually wants to talk to you after that. I was very pleasantly surprised by the effort put in by Brandon at Midwest Automotive Designs.
After the battery charge dropped too low, some systems went offline. I think the manual could be better at describing the electrical systems and what could happen under certain circumstances. Brandon spent a lot of time with me on the phone troubleshooting systems and software on my Midwest Passage. And my initial call got a prompt call back. All issues have been resolved to my satisfaction and I am more educated on the RV systems included on the Passage.
Incidentally, the Midwest Passage is an excellent, sophisticated RV. I have enjoyed using it.
Went to the 2023 Fl rally and it was fantastic. No other manufacturer gives this this type of service and care for owners. The people, education and service to fix a few minor things in our rig was fantastic. Can’t wait to attend another rally to meet people and learn more. We are MAD fans for sure. We spend about 5 months a year in our van. We have told all our friends to look for models manufactured by MAD. Can’t wait for future locations to go and explore and meet people. Spring in the southeast coast would be ideal for us!
We had an amazing time at the MAD Van Rally in Ocala FL! Catching up with a bunch of old friends and making new ones! The first rally we attended was six days after we purchased our MAD van. My wife was not convinced that this van was for us. After the rally, she said, “We’re going to the next”. Off to Florida we went. Now were currently on the road to Elkhart. We love you MAD❤️. Thank you for everything that you’ve done for the owners of these delightful vehicle’s. After Elkhart, we’re heading to Las Vegas and then back to Texas for rallies #4 & #5. Keep them coming.
I joined MAD group on Facebook for my 2019 weekender. I started going to the rallies. This last one was in Elkhart. They offered Classes on service that is needed, question and answer, also people shared about apps they used to travel. They provided techs to fix any issues even if they were out of warranty. The techs didn't have the parts needed so on Monday I went to the shop before heading home. Well worth the layover.
Bought our MAD Passage in February. We were late getting registered for the Ocala Rally, but Jackie made room for us. We ended up with the last spot. The rally was a great experience for my wife and I. We met so many great people at the rally. The wealth of knowledge is amazing. Although we only had our Passage a couple short weeks, we didn’t have the opportunity to utilize the free repairs onsite, but we watched all of the repairs going on. Never seen anything like it! It was definitely great to see a manufacturer support the group like that.
We’re going to the mothership rally in a few short weeks and will definitely be taking advantage of the repairs being offered. Touring the facility is one of my todo’s. Meeting up with friends we made at the last rally and learning from other owners is. Can’t say enough about the support that MAD has provided to the Mad about you Rally. From the dinner, to the vendor support onsite to the repairs. It’s definitely worth attending a rally sponsored by MAD.
The rally was amazing. The tour made me realize why my van cost as much as it did; so much handcrafted work on every square inch. I'm adding a photo of the owners and one of a class held at the rally with piles of parts in it that MAD brought to address warranty and out of warranty issues. There were MAD technicians everywhere.
We purchased a passage 170 extend from Midwest automotive design, after looking at many models and brands. We are very impressed with the quality of our new coach as with anything new sometimes there are some small issues and a learning curve, Jason Kelly at Midwest automotive design‘s has been so helpful, very knowledgeable and very patient. He is always willing to help. Again, we are so pleased that we purchased from Midwest automotive design’s, a great company to business with.
We have attended two MAD Owners Rally's and received great on-site support by MAD: training seminars, on-site repairs, and follow-up by top MAD Service Technicians. We are very pleased with the customer service provided.
I am the owner of a 2021 Midwest Passage. I bought it sight unseen after seeing the reviews that had been posted. My only regret is that I have not put enough miles on the van. In designing the Passage, Midwest thought of everything. The sleeping compartment is comfortable, plenty of storage space, and love the cooking/food storage arrangements. Most important, a special shoutout to the customer service department. Have been in several situations where they have come to my rescue. The service is always over and beyond. No complaints, no regrets.
I’ve had my Patriot for over two years. With almost 200 nights camping, it’s been a great RV.
The extra-bonus you get by purchasing a Midwest van is their quarterly owner’s rallies. I’ve attended two “MAD About You Tour” rallies. Both were awesome. Both had their own themes. And in both MAD went all-out to provide courtesy repairs and parts installed by their factory Techs and group education seminars to learn how to use the van (inverter, lithium batteries, firefly, audio/visual system, etc.). The rallies prove that MAD “gets-it” about customer loyalty.
Only a month away from the Elkhart “Return to the Mothership” rally! And then Las Vegas and Crystal Beach, Texas in October.
I am a new owner and thus far have been very happy with my MAD Ford Transit Freedom Package. I've had great support and look forward to attending a Rally in 2024. I would love advance notice as I will likely build a road trip around it and need to plan in advance. I will most certainly attend all Rallies in Florida my home state.
